Because there's no need to sacrifice comfort when weight isn't a concern, Big Agnes offers base/ car camping tents like this Big Agnes Tensleep Station 4 Tent.
With features (on some models) like optional, extra large accessory vestibules for storage, heaps of mesh pocket and more... these just may be the ultimate shelters for four to eight people and all their gear (and dogs too!). Simple floor plans and easy pitching mean you'll be set up and cooking with the gang before the guy next door fumbles with his big-box tent. When weight is less important than space, then the Big Agnes Tensleep Station 4 Tent is the perfect a three season, 4 person, free standing, base/car camping tent.
The Tensleep Station represents a happy combination of Southern charm and Rocky Mountain high life. A spacious front vestibule was imagined by our Mississippi born designer Lesley Chambers as a "screened-in porch." This just might be the best place to sip your whiskey, read a book or hang out with the kids while the rest of your crew naps in the back. With enough space to play a mean game of Twister, the Tensleep Station is as luxurious as it is practical.
We list below in our spec chart several weights for this tent to aid in your product research: Trail weight refers to poles, fly and tent body. Packed weight includes poles, fly, tent body, stakes, guy lines, stuff sacks, instructions, and packaging.
To extend the life of your tent floor, we recommend using a ground cloth or a Big Agnes footprint. *The footprint, gear loft,trekking poles and Blowdown Tent Anchors are sold separately.

Since the Tensleep Station tents are large, high profile tents, we recommend staking out all stake-out points and all guy-outs for the most stability, especially in windy conditions.
